Still searching for answers, he arrived in Peru, where he connected with the Shipibo-Conibo tribe and began dieting plants.
Guided by the plants, Mokan delved into various shamanic classes and therapies, including Past life regression therapy, Parts therapy, Hypnosis, NLP, Energy healing and Psychology. He was initiated into multiple shamanic lineages from around the world to build a practice that would help him find peace with his addiction. Throughout his years of study, he remained clean, though he faced a few relapses. As of 2024, he has now been completely clean for eight years.
Mokan has crafted a healing program that integrates his diverse studies, supporting others in taking control of their own energies. He views addiction as a diversion from healing the shadows awakened within the psyche. Now living in the jungle of Peru, Mokan is a dedicated student of the plants, engaging in daily study, healing, and personal evolution. Maestra Antonia Mahua - Spiritual Elder

Introducing Mama Antonia – Mamachaqui
Mama Antonia has been studying and dieting with plants for over 66 years and is 80 years old as of 2023. We welcome you to read her story.
Mama Antonia, a revered Curandera and healer, has devoted her life to the healing arts, shaped by deep wisdom and boundless compassion. Her journey began under the guidance of her father-in-law, a man known for his profound insight and mastery of plant medicine. His teachings would forever change the course of her life. At the young age of 13 or 14, Mama Antonia embarked on her first dieta – a transformative rite of passage that ignited her calling to become a healer. Inspired by the voice of her partner, Papa Benjamin, she discovered a profound connection between healing and the gift of song. This early dieta awakened her purpose – to care for and heal those suffering from illness.
Central to her transformation was her connection with the sacred plant Noya Rao (palo volador), a powerful guide in her spiritual journey. Through this plant, she received profound insights and experiences that deepened her connection to the spiritual realms. Each encounter during the dieta revealed new mysteries, strengthening her commitment to healing and helping others. Her first dieta took place in Painaco alongside Papa Benjamin, and later in Paoyan, where she received further revelations. Always guided by her intuition, Mama Antonia moved through these sacred journeys with grace and certainty, never straying from the path.
These experiences revitalized her and filled her with a deep sense of purpose. Emerging from her dieta, Mama Antonia felt an unshakable calling to share her healing abilities with her community. The dieta not only expanded her vision but also empowered her to continue on the path of mastery and service to others. However, her journey was marked by immense challenges. During a visit to Yarinacocha, Mama Antonia experienced the deep sorrow of miscarriage. Her husband, sensing her pain, turned to the powerful plant Ayahuma to support her healing. Unfortunately, this was not the only loss she endured. Throughout her life, she suffered multiple miscarriages, believed to be the result of spiritual attacks by malevolent forces. Despite these tragedies, Mama Antonia’s spirit remained unbroken.
The healing power of Ayahuma became central to her practice. She would sing the sacred songs of the plant to protect her life force, knowing that silence could invite danger. These healing melodies became her lifeline, a sacred connection to the spiritual world that shielded her from spiritual threats. In her later years, Mama Antonia drew strength from her husband’s final words, urging her to continue their sacred work with their son, Augustín. This bond gave her the resilience to face further heartache, such as the loss of her youngest son, Carlos, to spiritual attacks. These challenges, rather than breaking her, deepened her compassion and commitment to empowering others to overcome such struggles. Through it all, Mama Antonia has remained a pillar of strength, continuing to heal and guide her community with the wisdom passed down to her. Her unwavering dedication to the healing arts has touched countless lives, and her legacy endures in the work she continues to do.

Maestro Marco Antonio

Introducing Marco Antonio – Marco has been studying and dieting with plants for over 20 years as of 2024. We welcome you to read his story.
Known in the artistic world as Korin Mea, Marco Antonio is an *Onanya*—a traditional doctor rooted in the shamanism of the Shipibo-Konibo people. In addition to his healing work, he is also a musical artist, performing a unique blend of *Cumbia Mashá* or *Cumbia Ícaro*. His Shipibo name, *Binan Mane*, translates to “Brilliant Young Man,” a title reflecting his wisdom and deep connection to ancestral values. Marco Antonio is proud to belong to the Shipibo-Konibo, the indigenous people who have lived along the Ucayali River in the eastern Peruvian Amazon for centuries.
From an early age, Marco Antonio received the inheritance of traditional knowledge passed down from his grandparents, particularly concerning master and medicinal plants such as Ayahuasca. He was later ordained as an *Onanya*, using the knowledge of traditional medicine and the powers granted by master plants to provide healing for both physical and emotional ailments.
Born in the indigenous Shipibo community of Paoyhan in the lower Ucayali region of Loreto, near Contamana, Marco Antonio grew up immersed in the natural beauty and spiritual traditions of the Amazon rainforest. He spent his youth fishing, hunting, and learning about the plants and animals that surrounded him. Growing up quickly, he found himself drawn to the spiritual practices of his family, many of whom were renowned shamans in the Paococha community. Inspired by his ancestors, Marco Antonio chose to follow in their footsteps and dedicate his life to traditional medicine.
Marco Antonio’s connection to *Icaros* (sacred songs) and the ancient healing traditions of his people was strengthened by his uncle, the shaman Manuel Mahua, who often shared his knowledge with him. His path to becoming a shaman was destined, as revealed to him through visions with Ayahuasca. After the death of his father, Marco Antonio inherited his father’s knowledge and began studying traditional medicine, feeling deeply called to follow the path of the shaman. Under the guidance of Manuel Mahua, he was ordained as an *Onanya* at the young age of 11, beginning his lifelong commitment to healing through the practice of *samá*, or plant dieta.
During the first three months of his *samá*, Marco Antonio formed a profound connection with Ayahuasca. He received messages from his deceased father, affirming that he was the one chosen to continue the family’s healing legacy. These sacred visions, teachings, and his growing gift as a shaman marked the beginning of his deep relationship with the medicine.
To date, Marco Antonio has dieted with approximately fifty different master plants and trees. His most challenging experiences have come from confronting difficult emotions, thoughts, and traumas, all of which were essential for his growth and understanding. These trials have shaped his life and taught him that spiritual growth often comes through unexpected challenges—or as he refers to them, “spiritual opportunities.”
In facing these opportunities, Marco Antonio has fully dedicated himself to the divine, maintaining a clear focus by avoiding negative thoughts and emotions. His philosophy centers on acceptance and presence: “Accepting who you are and how you are in each moment is crucial for growth, and staying in the present is what makes the difference.” This mindset has become one of Marco Antonio’s greatest strengths.
As a lifelong student of Shipibo ancestral medicine, Marco Antonio continuously deepens his relationship with Ayahuasca and the master plants he works with. His abilities as a healer continue to evolve and strengthen, allowing him to bring transformative change to those who seek his help.
Currently based in Yarinacocha-Pucallpa, Marco Antonio offers his shamanic services through his Spiritual Center, “Dietas de Ayahuasca Healing Center,” located in the native community of San Salvador, 18 kilometers from the city of Pucallpa. His work is rooted in the ancient science of shamanism and the discipline of plant dietas, or *samá*. He believes that to truly be a shaman, one must commit to the dietas, as they form the foundation of all healing practices.
Marco Antonio’s healing journey and dedication to shamanism are well-recognized by his indigenous community and people from around the world. He remains fully committed to sharing his gifts and changing the lives of those who come to him for help.
